Description
Known as the “city of lights,” Perth has a rich history, dating back to the Noongar people, who are considered the traditional owners of Perth. Located on the Swan Coastal Plain, the Noongar believe the Wagyl (Waugal), or rainbow water serpant, was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the river and most of the water features around Perth. This is the character the Dorsett embodies: a balance between the old and the new, raw versus refined, with materials pulled from the local geography, and art that celebrates the city’s past, present, and future.
